iResident app for iPhone and iPad

iResident is a fully bilingual (English/French) app that provides a means for long term convalescent patients or residents of facilities with decreasing independence, to maintain contact with family and friends regardless of where they are in the world.

Unlike other social media apps which can contain lots of advertisements and unknown parties requesting you to friend them, this app has been engineered to focus on the aged, this means only those who have been invited to communicate can and advertisements are limited to relevant to the aged lifestyle.

There are few distractions in using this app. The resident can accept family connection requests so that they can commence messaging in a private network. Optionally, the facility where the resident resides, can monitor family connection requests to ensure the well being of its residents.

Residents can exchange messages, photos and videos with their loved ones.

Now everyone, who has a loved one in a residence and who cant visit them because of distance or circumstances, can communicate and maintain contact with each other. This helps the resident feel connected at a time in their lives when they need family the most.

Please note that in order to use this app, you must request and receive from the participating facility, the residents (your loved one) Unique Identifier.
